The INLAN Advantage

Active-Tag Capabilities.
Passive-Tag Price.

INLAN delivers 40m+ range, UWB-level localization, and built-in sensors, battery-free and at cents per tag. Everything operations leaders have been asking for. Nothing they haven't needed.

0m+ Read Range vs ~10m for passive RFID
Cents Per Tag vs $20–$100+ for active tags
Battery-Free No charging. No swaps. No downtime.

INLAN vs The Field

INLAN sits at a unique intersection: the cost profile of passive RFID, the capabilities of active UWB tags.

01 / Cost

Cents per tag

RFID Pricing. Active-Tag Capabilities.

The INLAN chip costs cents, directly comparable to passive RFID tags. Active and battery-powered tags (UWB, Bluetooth) run anywhere from $20 to $100 or more per unit, and that's before you factor in battery replacement programmes across thousands of assets.

Customers tell us cost is the gating factor every time. They want the location intelligence of active tags, but the economics of passive. INLAN delivers exactly that, with no compromise required.

02 / Range

0m+ read range

Four Times the Range of RFID.

INLAN tags achieve 40+ metre read range. Passive RFID tops out at around 10 metres. That's not a marginal improvement: it fundamentally changes how many readers you need to deploy.

Longer range means fewer readers per square metre, fewer cable runs, fewer installation days, and a dramatically lower infrastructure cost. The 40m range is consistently the moment in a conversation where operations leaders stop and lean in.

Fewer Readers. Larger Coverage.

The same warehouse floor. Dramatically fewer readers required.

03 / Localization

UWB-Level localization accuracy

Precision RFID Can't Match.

Passive RFID localization tops out at roughly 1.5 metres best-case, and only with specialist readers designed for it. Most deployments offer nothing better than "in this zone."

INLAN delivers UWB-level precision and does it continuously in real time. With passive tags, reconstructing where items are across a warehouse or store floor can take on the order of 15 minutes or more depending on setup. INLAN tracks movement as it happens: direction, speed, dwell time, all live.

04 / Sensors

Sensing When You Need It.

Every INLAN tag includes a built-in temperature sensor, a confirmed capability that opens up cold chain use cases in food and pharmaceutical logistics where passive RFID simply can't deliver.

Because INLAN tracks location continuously, movement and speed data come standard, derived directly from position updates with no separate motion sensor required. The platform is architected to support additional sensor types as market needs evolve.

Passive RFID tags can't reliably power sensors: there isn't enough harvested energy. INLAN's approach removes that constraint entirely.

Real Time. Every Time.

The difference between knowing where your assets are right now, and knowing where they were 15 minutes ago.

Passive RFID

Snapshot-Based
Location reconstruction in progress…
  • Readers must scan each tag individually as it passes through range
  • Reconstructing full inventory positions can take on the order of 15 minutes or more depending on setup
  • No movement direction, speed, or dwell time data
  • Localization accuracy limited to ~1.5m with specialist readers

INLAN

Continuous
Tracking live: all assets, all the time
  • Continuous tracking: location updates as movement happens
  • Direction of movement, speed, and dwell time all in real time
  • UWB-level localization accuracy without UWB infrastructure cost
  • No reconstruction cycle: your view of the floor is always current
